Two guests talking over coffee and toast at a Korebi × Terra table

Korebi × Terra — specialty coffee and gourmet kitchen

कोरेबी x टेरा

Where sunlight meets the earth.

The idea

Two names for one instinct.

Korebi is the Japanese word for sunlight scattering through leaves. Terra is simply the earth. Together, they describe what we're trying to build: a café where the discipline of artisanal roasting and the craft of a proper kitchen sit on the same ticket, instead of competing for space.

We didn't want to run a coffee counter that happens to serve food, or a kitchen that happens to pour coffee. We wanted both handled properly — priced for the quality of what's in the cup and on the plate, not for how it photographs.

"Not selling coffee — selling a slower five minutes in the middle of a fast day."

Why now

Built for the gap in the middle.

India's café culture is expanding quickly, but it tends to split two ways — large chains built around volume and frozen kitchens, and independent cafés with real craft that rarely scale past a room or two. Korebi × Terra sits deliberately in between: a chef-led kitchen and a specialty coffee program, run with the systems of a chain and the standards of a craft café. Upscale, but not intimidating — that balance is the whole bet.

On the table

What's actually being served.

One counter, one kitchen, one ticket — coffee and food designed to be ordered together, not one after the other. The kitchen is entirely vegetarian across every outlet.

Korebi — the coffee side

Everything starts with Wabi, our in-house blend: a washed, 100% Arabica roast tuned for a clean, everyday cup. Beyond that sits a rotating single-origin list — a whiskey-barrel-aged Bourbon, an anaerobic-fermented Bubble Bliss, a honey sun-dried Moganad Estate, a yeast-fermented Melkodige. We roast in-house and keep the supplier list short and direct, on purpose, so the cup in one café tastes like the cup in the next.

Terra — the food side

Terra Food Co. brings eight years of running gourmet kitchens to this table: sourdough toasts, hand-shaped bagels, Japanese-bread sandos and full bowls, built to travel from a central kitchen to a service counter without losing the plot. Food carries its own weight on this menu — it isn't a side note to the coffee.

Consistency

Same cup, every city.

Coffee quality is easy to promise and hard to keep once there's more than one outlet. This is how we hold the line.

01

Direct sourcing

We hold direct relationships with the farms and estates we buy from, rather than trading on the open market — it's a steadier supply, and the reason we can offer distinctive micro-lots that don't show up everywhere else.

02

Centralised roasting

Roast profile and freshness are controlled centrally, not left to each outlet. Consistency is treated as the actual product here — not a slogan on the wall.
